FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

October 11, 2011

                                                  Occupy “Black” Cincinnati

United we stand, divided we fall. The organizers of Occupy “Black” Cincinnati have been inspired by the Occupy Cincinnati and Occupy Wall Street protest. We stand with and include ourselves as part of the “99 percent.”

We stand against the nation’s wealth gap. We stand against high unemployment and lack of jobs and contracts in our communities.

An Occupy “Black” Cincinnati pre-rally will take place Friday October 14, 2011 at 7:30 pm. The location is Cincinnati Community Action Agency (CAA) 1740 Langdon Farm Road (lower level).

Immediately following the pre-rally two busloads of Cincinnatians will board charter buses headed to Washington, D.C in conjunction with Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network “Fight for Jobs and Justice Movement!”

The National Rally and March will commemorate the rescheduled unveiling of the MLK monument on the National Mall. President Obama will speak.
